Thank you Nambi for sharing your interesting take. Good to read your perspective. Hindi-speaking people are good people. The purpose of this article was to shed a light on language politics, and the role of Hindi in India as the language of the powerful northern elites. As for your last point, it is my experience that Indians are treated well in the Gulf and also in Pakistan. I personally had Indian friends from several parts of India by virtue of my residence in the Gulf and I found them to be good people. Pakistanis are known to receive Indian visitors with warmth.
